This digital ad campaign project was quite intriguing as it focused on admissions for degree and diploma courses at an educational institute for the years 2021 and 2022. The institute opted out of traditional paper and hoarding advertisements, choosing instead to leverage Google, Facebook and Instagram Ads for their annual admissions. We visited the institute to gain a through understanding of their courses and the targeted regions for student recruitment. Subsequently, we designed and executed search and display ad campaigns on Google and Facebook, incorporating clear calls to action and lead generation forms. Additionally, we utilized custom targeting, leveraging the institute’s student database. The results were outstanding, as we achieved a 100% admission rate solely through digital ad campaigns.

Challenge

The main challenge in this ad campaign was to generate online leads for admissions without relying on traditional advertising methods. Both the client and our team were uncertain about the success of the campaign without utilizing traditional advertising channels to drive admissions. There were concerns about receiving fake leads or leads from outside the targeted region. Complicating matters further was the fact that admissions were typically facilitated by parents only after visiting the institute. Despite these concerns, the online admission campaign proved to be highly successful.

Solutions

Despite the initial concerns, we successfully addressed the challenge by generating a significant number of leads, ultimately achieving a 100% admission rate for the institute. The combined efforts of our Facebook, Instagram and Google ad campaigns, encompassing both display and search ads, proved highly successful. Additionally, the institute’s collaboration was instrumental, as they provided student data for custom targeting, further enhancing the effectiveness of our campaigns.
